Foraging is my favourite way to source and to get creative. Not knowing what I’ll find on my walks pushes me to connect with nature in a very attentive way and challenge myself creatively at the max.
I think of designing like painting with flowers and light. Using colourful combinations and experimenting with sustainable materials are an essential part of my creative process. It’s exciting to put the pieces together like a puzzle 🙂
After years in the industry learning the rules and techniques, I have started to do things differently. I look for the unconventional, the weird, the playful… the freedom of expressing myself like a curious kid who doesn’t know what the rules are yet.
