About me
I was born and raised in Maracaibo, Venezuela.
In 2007 I got an BA in graphic design.
Few months after, fleeing an authoritarian regime, I left for Europe to look for new opportunities.
Once there I earned an MA in art direction in Paris, studied photography on scholarship in Barcelona and co-founded an event photography business.
In 2015 I moved to the Bay Area and started my journey with florals.
Since then I have been working at flower shops and freelancing with floral studios in California.
My personal exploration with florals started during my maternity leave in 2018. I challenged myself to create still lifes with what I found on my walks. The time away gave me the space to reflect and have dialogues through flowers and photography. Because of my history and nomadic life, my work centers on identity and a strong need for belonging.
